Damn it!
I want another pair so badly!
I had a pair back when they came out, a really comfortable pair of boots.

They got pretty badly torn up during an altercation with a car that wanted my lane.
Maybe some day...

I'm thinking of taking my pair to see if they can be repaired.
The zipper and leather on one boot is pretty bad off.
The zipper I have confidence can be fixed.
Te rest I'm not so sure.
Fingers crossed.

Glitch,
Check out a place called Resole.com
I have a VERY favorite pair of old Prexports. I've had them for 10 years and have over 70,000 miles on them.
The insides are in rough shape but they fit SOOO good.
The soles were totally shot a few years back. Bad enough that I was going to chuck them.
I heard about resole.com here on BWB and took a chance. If memory serves, it was about $75 with shipping.
They came back better than when they were new. The new sole is better than the original. The uppers will wear out before the new soles will.

I can provide pictures if you want. I'm not sure what soles they used as they didn't list Prexport boots. Just give them a call.

Brad

Brad, did they have to do any repair to the boot other than the insole and sole?
Mine needs some new stitching and repairs to the boot itself.
Honestly, I can't believe I still have them.

Great boots, good in cold (15) and wet, warm. Worth the money.

Dave, I just had the soles redone. I didn't check on any repairs.
