Dumped a container of small parts ( fuses, etc) I had stored in the underseat compartment of the Uly. While fishing them out from around the battery, I noticed that on the left hand front side of the battery (riders left/front) there is an piece of metal that comes up from the floor of the underseat compartment then has a 90 bend ( forward) in it. This horizontal surface has two holes in it. It appears the holes may be threaded. My question is - is there something that's supposed to be fastened there? No problems with the bike, just never noticed it before.

Sorry no photo - daughter borrowed the camera before heading back to college

Thanks

That's where the Bank Angle Sensor was originally located on Ulys - there was a recall to move it into the tail section.
