Some of you here know that my wife and I are big tattoo enthusiasts. Fewer of you know that my wife is a novelist. She's written a book that's in a competition right now to be published by Harlequin, which is a pretty serious imprint. If anybody cares to show some love - we'd really appreciate it if you would go and vote for her book - it's about a girl who's a tattoo artist who can ink curses and powers into her patrons' skin. And yes, the main character rides a Buell Ulysses - so you'd also be showing some love to the boys up in East Troy! Strok' - no, unfortunately, the pink bg of the website does give the wrong impression - most of these books in her genre involve half-naked women on the cover covered in tattoos. Sometimes it's a guy, though - usually not Fabio - usually it's somebody who looks like a UFC fighter. Thanks to everyone who's voted - your support is much appreciated! |
