Still looking for my elusive replacement saddlebag for the 97 S3. One damaged as it dropped off the side of the bike and ultimately someone ran over it ;-(

Have been watching the board, Ebay, Craigslist, etc. I know something will turn up.

Ran across this website listing replacement parts for sale...

Website home:
http://www.rg500.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT &Store_Code=R

Website listing of S3 right saddlebag
http://www.rg500.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD &Store_Code=R&Product_Code=AT167XBS3TSBRB&Category _Code=ATBuell

Website looks obscure, no address...
Anybody done business with them?

Thanks
REVz

I'd call the phone number and verify exactly what they have and talk to someone in person. That should put to rest any worried, I'd think.

This is a hard part to try and find, sometimes you gotta take a little risk.

After more looking, those appear to Airtech bodywork peices, which means they will likely arrive as a replacement part - unfinished fibergalss. Bad because they'd be unfinished, good because they'd be fiberglass and likely much stronger than the originals.

do you need just lids or the inner cases also?

I have a set of demon blue deep lids and inner cases. the inner cases are cracked and need repaired. came from a 1999 S3

Airtech doesn't list them on their website. Most of my experience with Airtech products is that they are cheap and flimsy.
