Hey Fellow Bad Webers. My Father-in law has recently decided that he is not able to ride a motorcycle anymore due to health reasons, breaks my heart to see this. I have been asked to do the deed and try to sell his motorcycle for him.He is asking $1200. 1985 Suzuki Mandura Black 52k miles Metzler bias ply tires (Lotta life left) 1200 V-4 water cooled final drive shaft I haven't had time to post pics but will do it tomorrow. The bike is in great shape, engine is strong and will get you a ticket quickly.I think this bike originally came from New York or New Jersey.we purchased it from Sheltons HD used.Pops dropped it in the garage a few weeks ago and added a dent to the gas tank so it has a few dings. I just need more room in my Buell barn, my boys are getting mad because I only ride the uly due to musical motorcycles.I have been riding this bike lately and it is a great highway bike and a perfect sleeper too.Not a lotta people left that remember the mid 80s bikes, and yes it still runs great. Thanks Webe |

Post some pics in the classifieds. I have never heard of a Mandura and I'm sure I am not alone. |

Looks like a copy of Honda's V65 Magna, of which I had an '85 model and loved it. Yamahammer had the V Max. Truly FAST motorcycles, like 165 mph top end. |

Yeppers- I remember these bikes, there were a few different versions (cruiser and tourer IIRC), maybe two different size motors- VERY rare, doubt it'd be easy to get parts. Also, IIRC the reviews were generally good, supposedly the motors are bulletproof... I'd like to ride one- see how it compares to the Hondas of the same era- but MAN it'd be fun to make a rat bike/chopper out of one! (Only if there were at least 2 bikes, with one a parts donor Mid 80's bikes IMHO were the last time there was an abundance of interesting designs- everything bores the crap out of me now, plus you gotta work for NASA to wrench on them... |
