Fidel Castro says his economic system is failing

Why are we, the United States, moving toward a socialist/communist model while at the same time the hero of Michael Moore, the UK, and Canada are moving away from it?

Why do we feel our socialists are smarter than their socialists?

Now they say Castro meant the Capitalist system is failing.

Which, when you have a Castro fan running things, it is in danger of doing.

He's just trying to end the blockade. Cuba is broke, and China won't lend them the trillions they do us. ( we're broke too. We just borrowed trillions from China...)

Why do we feel our socialists are smarter than their socialists?

It's a NPR thing. Many Public media types think Stalin could have succeeded if he'd only been as smart as they were. I heard one actually say that, I had a pal who worked at the local station.

They thought I was a Neanderthal. Oddly, hard core right wingers think I'm a bleeding heart liberal. They are part right. I'm on meds for the bleeding.

That might just be as good as what we get with dozens and dozens of cable channels to choose from.

Read Marx, socialism it designed to fail, it is on the road to 'utopia' it will prescriptively fail under its own weight and require a totalitarian answer of communism to correct its faultings

Anybody that thinks socialism is grand, hasnt studied history, read source material, have an understanding of economics / human natures and is usually a f8cking academic that has never 'worked' a day in their life. consider the source.
