The trees are turning colour... it's bleeping fall already and we haven't even had any summer yet!!!
Now, all we can hope for is a long fall and some Indian Summer.

It's great! Personally, fall and winter are my favorite times to ride. The weather is a little milder than spring, and not miserable like the heat of July and August.

My most memorable riding experiences have almost all been in sub-freezing temperatures. There's just something about bundling up in the appropriate gear, and experiencing that connection to nature, and the barriers from it, all at the same time.

We've had a hot, mostly dry summer. In fact some days the bike stayed in the garage cuz it was too hot to be comfortable even in mesh gear.

Pkforbes, I can agree with that partially, but you will have to admit that it would be nice to ride on at least ONE sunny day.

Here in central Oklahoma, I'm more than happy to say goodbye to the sunny days and accompanying 100+ temps. Looking forward to those overcast days with temps in the 40's or 50's, maybe a little drizzle to wash a summer's worth of bugs off the Uly : )

We've had a good, long, hot, dry summer. I'm happy to have it - last summer was cool and rainy for us.

I hate fall.....only because it means winter is coming. I hate winter.....because it is winter. I really like late spring, it is warm enough to do stuff but not stupid hot, and summer is coming(not winter).

I don't mind winter. I get to hit Wilmot Mt, and Alpine Valley resort for snowboarding. Worked at Wilmot years ago. Takes me back to days of going to CO for a week every year to get some real snowboarding in. All ya gotta do is dress for it. But, now my vacations go to warmer climates during winter.

Rained yesterday, raining today... rain for the next 4 days and it feels like snow.
This is NOT fun... we may as well be in Seattle!

Thanks Buellkowski... I needed that!

By the way, do you ever get to the Tractor in Ballard? Boy, do I ever miss that place.

Do I ever get to the Tractor? Mere stumbling distance from my house. I've been to countless shows there.

Thanks Buellkowski... I needed that, too.

I've seen some great music there, and like I said... boy, do I ever miss that place.

Rex... Great idea!!!
As soon as we get further into fall and the trees really change colour, I'll post some pics.
But, you're right... it would be nice if we could get some photos from different locals during the fall.
Hows the colour change going in AZ??

Buellkowski... I just may take you up on the invite. I'll even buy you a beer.

Doesn't suck in Mur-vil.

Dragon's in the backyard- I know better roads.

I'll allow a great secret- Deal's Gap is most enjoyable in late fall, thru winter.

Lookin forward to Suches next month.
