I just put a set of Brembo pads in the XB, now I have to go ride to bed them in.
Honest! it's a safety thing, it has to be done properly.

My bike is on a ship scootling around hurricanes in the Atlantic, on its way to the UK. It wont arrive for about a month. The weather has been lovely over here for about a month now and I have sold all my other bikes. No doubt the bike will arrive just at the start of out monsoon season, and I won't get to ride it until next summer.
Sorry I just don't like you lot being all happy and loved up when I'm over here in a grumpy mood.

Zaphof, you've some superb roads to ride up in Yorkshire, it'll be worth the wait.

Are you going to be on temporary import or UK reg?

Check out UKBEG for rides & help.

Will be on Uk plates, and because the bike is a 98 I can buy a registration number that starts with S1.
My problem is that I'm not very good at being bored, and there is only so much golf, shooting, fishing, drinking that one can do!

Yes I know of Maz, and I have visited the Emporium. Problem was I had an XB at the time and therefore was not pure of soul.

What the hell, I'm work free until the 14th, my Porsche 911 is finally back home and running like a champ. Our youngest son made it thru college. At last I can finally finish a few jobs around the house! Even going to Oak Island next weekend for two nights. Maybe I'll slab the Buell down. Yes, life is good, for at least a little while.

Get to ride to St. Augustine & back this PM. (About 100 miles all told). Get to watch a rugby match whilst I am there. Get to visit an "English" pub for after match festivities (No drinking though, I have the bike). Get to spend the rest of the long weekend with my wife, family & friends. The weather is perfect. Yes... I am HAPPY!

I'd be happy if we could put together 2 days in a row without rain.... oh, and if those 2 days could fall on my days off.
Otherwise, all is good!

I'm on a dirtbike trip in Pennsylvania. While climbing a hill fell over, buddy tried to get by me misjudged and hit me! Put a hole in LH crank case bummer for a long weekend trip.... not!

Quicksteel is an amazing product! Sealed it up from the inside held all day no leaks. Weekend riding can continue.

Happy outcome!

I'm happy enough, above ground and vertical, all my primary bikes are running, licensed and insured, I have a job, don't owe anyone anything, got a great son and folks that care. Good enough for me!

Well none of this has a moto involved, but its been a great week. I work selling used cages at a franchise store.
Big boss has a truck he wants sold by the end of the month, and puts a bounty of a new IPad on it. I thought the bounty was for the weekend, and forget about it. I get it sold last day of the month, and take a few days off.
Come into work today, and in our sales meeting hands me the I pad, cool! Then find out I get a little 50 buck bonus, getting better...Then find out I was entered in a drawing for a 46 mac daddy HD flat screen tv..... and Won! So it was a Happy day!
