Well, it's been a long time coming and I knew this day would arrive. The Doc informs me that I have bone to bone contact, and that I have some minor tearing of an already thin meniscus. He tells me surgery is in order, but since I'm in self pay mode, I can't consider it right now . So a shot in the knee with a recommendation of a knee brace, with follow up steroid injections was the consensus. I'm atgatt which also includes strap on knee and shin armor . I've been checking out braces for over half a year now, but I've never worn one full time, let alone over a knee brace, I'd like some real world experiences and input. So if any of you have ever been in my predicament, I empathize , but if you would please share. Naturally I want everything for nothing...... So I ask... What is the most comfy , most stabilizing hinged knee brace, able to be worn under armor, for the least cost? Thanks you all! |
