I seem to have uncovered a very coveted buell part

traction grips

I hated them and gave 2 sets away when I first got my buell, turns out my did never put them on his bike, he has sold his bike and gave me the grips back last Thursday, still zip tied to the cardboard insert.

now I have no idea what to do with them now, nearly everyone wants them (no idea why, IMO they are some of the most uncomfortable comfortable grips I have ever used).

I don't want them just setting around when somebody would be very happy to have them, I would love to sell them and see what I cold get(to be honest I could really use the money regardless how much it is).
I just think I would feel guilty, like a profiteer of buell closing or something, and I don't want people elbowing each other out and getting upset over something as simple as grips.
I tried looking them up on ebay for pricing but my search came up nil
what is fair?

If you need money, my friend, fair is what the market will bear.
Honestly, I know what you mean, but if money is an issue, let these grips go to a loving home in the hands of someone who can afford to pay well for them.

Stick them on e-bay with a reserve of what you think they are worth at a minimum. The market will decide:
a) If your reserve is too high
b) what the "market" (final) price will be.

No need to feel guilty. No one is twisting anyones arm to buy them. It's not like charging $10.00 per gallon of gas during a hurricane. This is a voluntary purchase. Get what you can for them.

I agree. If this was something you can't get but needed to keep a bike on the road, it would feel a little slimy to just put the screws to somebody. But this ain't that. Let the bidding begin! : )

I liked those grips, but they wear pretty quickly. I like Al's enduro grips better now, and use them on two dirt bikes and a street bike (my kid insisted on a set for his bike after sitting on my dirt bike)

Last 2 pairs I've seen on here went for $25. The people could have got more but don't think you have a factory XB/1125 comfort seat or anything! LoL

I bought the second to the last set the local dealer had for $16.95. Now that they are unobtainium you should get 20 to 25 dollars and not feel guilty in the least.

I'm hangin' on to a new-in-box R fairing stay. Give it another several years, and I think it'll turn a nice profit on ebay.

I know what you mean, Delta - I put them on my Firebolt and thought they were awful. The stock grips were much more comfortable for me.
