My '06 cityX has had some major fueling gremlins over that past few months. I'll give ya a brief history. One day on the way to in April I noticed some surging at highway speed. I didn't think much of it, and when i got home i did a TPS reset and all seemed to be right again. Flash forward to present day, my old cityx has managed to accumulate 130 mi. all summer and is now also completely unrideable. To this point I have gone thru most of the obvious:

Intake seals replaced
TPS replaced
EMC swapped

My next step is to change out my engine temp sensor.

This morning as I sat reading thru the many threads that call to me each morning on the quick board it hit me! Perhaps i've been chasing the wrong gremlin all along? There seems be be a very common denominator in this countries problems lately and I never put 2 and 2 together until now.

"OBAMA"

I wish someone had told me that his grasp could also get to my beauty of a bike, I would have hidden it away till this "November" everyone speaks about with such anticipation!

Maybe it's the "UNION'S" fault my bike runs like crap, oh wait, they didn't build it....nevermind.

Or could it be the "MUSLIMS" puttin' the whammy on the xb9, they hate american stuff....i bet it's them!

C'mon now! Obviously this is a joke, so don't get all sensitive on me. I don't care what political leader is in office or what religion is at the top of the heap at the moment, It's seems to me it's time we start watching our own asses again people and stop putting all our trust in political figure heads that I would trust far less then any of you here!

I guess i'm just trying to say sometimes we create our own problems by pretending someone else is causing them on us....just a thought.

Throttle body butterfly is nice and tight, right?
If it's kind of loose, it'll run good after a reset, then go to crap.
Also it'll run nice and go to crap for no apparent reason, the opposite is true as well.
Best of luck!

If you lived in the South, you'd not have these problems.
(Just adding to the fire ; ) )
