NOT BS, Straight up BULL SHIT!

And bet you he pleads down to some equally bull shit lesser offense, and walks. And how can they convict on reckless homicide with out the BAC? They can't and they know it.

Wanna take a guess as to what would happen to a "citizen"?

I've been following the story pretty closely, as I live in the greater indianapolis area. I am completely and totally blown away at the fact that this guy is going to walk away (or probably drive away, won't even lose his license) from a murder that happened in broad daylight with dozens of witnesses.

It pains me to realize that if I get killed as a motorcycle rider, people will look at it like the neighbor's cat just got run over. Sad. Where's the AMA lawyers when you need them?

If he had run over a cat, they'd have thrown the book at him.

Josh,

Hey I live near Indy too. In my Dad's case they released the driver before a B/A test could be performed. They said once he left police custody a test was no longer admissible. He died in NC but the laws are similar to ours.

The AMA only backs those who are members. Dad had let his membership expire years earlier. And, even though I was still a member, they would only offer advise and names of attorneys who could help my Mom with the court case against the other driver.

There's not much a victim's family can do. The hands of the police are tied in many instances by proper procedure. If everything isn't done to the letter of the law the offender is often in a better position than the victim's family. Trust me, I know.

I live in the Indy area too. This pisses me off.

There's a rally tonight on the circle at 6:30. . . I'm there.

Yeah there is an uproar here in Indy about that. It's about time the police corruption was brought into the limelight. It's been a problem here for a long time.
