Hey all, promised I'd keep you up to date with the goings ons of one Bella from Prior and Heather in N.C. The trade off went off without a hitch. Alex and Heather dropped her off on July 25 and we then went shopping for goodies at Petsmart. They weighed her there at 33.2 lbs. Remember this was July 25. Fast forward to August 14th (Our 11 yr. wedding anniversary) and Bella's first vet visit, well her first visit here. She got a very clean bill of health and was now 43 lbs. at approx. 6 months. She is filling out well. She is doing well with her house breaking and has turned out to be a very good dog. She is apprehensive around other dogs at first until she sniffs 'em out then, as you will see in the pics, she makes friends quickly. Her new friend is my brother's Australian Shepherd Cayo. They are about the same age but he has about 10 - 15 lbs on her but she quickly showed him who's boss.

That's my brother, he's supposed to be sending me the pics he took also. I expect them sometime in 2013.

He did get a good one of them as they were snapping at each other playfully. Bella had a hold of Cayo's lower jaw, looked as though she was eating him up.

Holy cow! The little girl has definitely grown! Glad to hear she's doing well and socializing with the other pups. So happy things worked out the way they did!

We'll have to figure out a visit up your way sometime to visit!

>>Australian Shepherd<<

I had to wiki it.

Like nothing we've got. Same colours as a Blue Cattle Dog, but much taller and looks like a Kelpie cross.

Nice work on the mutt rescue.

I've taken video of my dogs playing like this and slowed them down. Looks nasty...actually how dog fights in movies are filmed as well. (Little useless FYI)

Awesome to know Bella found a happy home. Both of you will appreciate it!

She looks like a very happy, confident little fur baby.
The end to a happy story, and the start of many more.

And Happy 11th anniversary!!
Bella will be with you for your 20th now!!

Bella and Tyson's schedule revolved around playtime. They were up at 6, breakfast at 6:30, wrasslin until 9:30 or so when it got hot, naptime, chase leaves, bark at trees, nap, dinner and then another 2 or 3 hours of wrasslin until it was time for bed.

Glad to see she's not lost her touch.

Bella and Tyson certainly found the right house to hang out at when they were left behind.

Love happy endings, especially when it involves rescued furkids!
