I don't get it. People just go crazy "GA GA" about somebody that doesn't give two shits about "those same people". At the end of the day,he just wants your MONEY and nothing more. It ain't like he is going to take you out for supper.....and when you are drooling down your bib, sitting in a nursing home.......it was all pointless when you could have been out riding a Buell. I'd much rather reflect on what I have done instead of what I have watched..........but that's just me. YMMV.

This year I don't think his waffling is for money. I think his body is fighting his love for the game. He's an awesome quarterback and last year was one of his best seasons. There will be 2 sides to every story and supporters on each side. I hope he comes back for his 20th and best year, and gets a Super Bowl win. I'm also a Packer fan. Have been for a long time. I'm from Dallas and I hate "America's Team". There. I said it. Lol

Or any organisation that would be that pretentious.

They just showed on ESPN Brett arriving in Minnesota. I guess he still wants to kick Green Bays butt for releasing him.

Farve is a douche. My favorite picture all year was the one in SI with him on his ass with an exasperated look on his face. The pic was taken when they lost in the playoffs last season.

If he were a decent team leader and person, he would have been there at the beginning of the pre-season both years. He's just an ass.

I endured about an hour at work (I'm a bartender) watching some doucheshow all about Farve, this and that- had to change it, just couldn't take any more. Put it on "Wacky Sports Stunts" or something like that, MUCH better.

It could be just as entertaining to mention that no one in the thread has spelled his name right... The media plays the drama out a lot more than [Favre] has. I believe the reason he's flip-flopped the last few seasons was just to avoid mini-camp, which a lot of people wouldn't care, if the press left it at that in evening's coverage. But when you have the AP searching high and low, interviewing every person that's talked to Favre every day, so they can get the latest "scoop" that means nothing more than feelings and small-talk, you get a lot of pissed off folk looking for sports coverage. Not saying that he's faultless, but the media should be held with more contempt than Favre. I'm glad to see him come back btw. He's the reason I started watching NFL, so I don't care what team he plays for as long as they're competitive.

+1 on over it, had to go thru it once with the Pack!

BUT, don't lump this guy in with the other prima donnas in the ball and stick industry, like T.O. and some moron called 85.
Do you really think he needs the money?
If you rooted for this guy for 16 years you know his reasons!
He just can't quit!
Sounds like someone else we know!

I'm no critic to what he does or his choices. He still can sling the ball and I enjoyed watching him play for many many years. I feel that its great that he strives to play at his age. I still enjoy watching him play. I tell people to quit complaining about his decisions and his lack of decisions and just watch the man play.

Yea he just wants to get out of training camp-he's done enough of those.
It's good for the Viqueens that he's going to play.

No but he did buy everyone on the team last year a pair of Wranglers. "Real Comfortable Jeans"

I could care less either way. I just hope he doesn't get hurt trying to prove a point. He's one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. No one would say anything negative if he was to retire.

He has an endorsement deal with Wrangler Jeans. I seriously doubt that tool spent any of his money on anyone but himself.

Anyone else buying the line that it took three teammates to "bring" Favre back? As if he's returning for the Vikes this time rather for than himself? I don't buy it.

I moved on the year Favre left. Aaron Rodgers is the man. GO PACK!!!

I think that they went to him not to "bring" him back but to say "What the f...? You coming or going?" Bernard Berrian pretty much summed it up on Rome's show. "We don't care either way...just let us know."

Well I did ride the short bus to school

As did I. It's hard to pick up on it through text...but yeah, I was being sarcastic.

so are they going to let him use his little rascal on the field?

I actually made that comment yesterday. Funny shit...

I spent 3 months in one of those things. They haul ass!
