Poorly kept secret, but now it's official.

Rumor is he's finally going to ride Ducati.
Something about "retiring" on the Duc.

I often wondered why Rossi didn't go to Ducati in '04.

Better deal at Yamaha? Next season should be fun.

According to his autobiography, Rossi found Ducati's environment too much like Honda's, which is why he went with Yamaha.

I guess Ducati decided to seriously kiss his ass in order to obtain his services for 2011.

The greatest and most popular road racer of the modern era is now going to be teamed with the most passionate and storied motorcycle racing company ever. Ducati.

I'm unable to veil my enthusiasm

"I guess Ducati decided to seriously kiss his ass in order to obtain his services for 2011."

Makes sense. I wasn't paying too much attention to Motorcycle racing in '04. Was wondering. I wonder if Ducati is going to give him the freedom to pursue other forms of Motorsport like Yamaha did. He's a fairly good Rally driver.
