Can anyone suggest a simple/easy way to make a video/slideshow that would be suitable for upload to youtube?

The Lemonchili Project has some new tunes on the way, and youtube seems a good way to spread the word. The main thing is to get the audio on there, the visual will just be still shots, or whatever is easy : )

While I can make my way around various music programs, I've never really done anything with video.

Any suggestions, links or pointers appreciated.
cheers,
chili

Windows Movie Maker for the PC.

It's free, and allows for all the basic editing needed to put together youtube clips.

Cool, thanks people. No Mac or iPhone, just PC's in this house (for the moment), so I'll check out Movie Maker : )

Give a holler if you get stuck. First time I looked at it I didn't understand how it worked and quickly gave up. Once I understood how it works it's pretty easy though. You won't make the next block buster movie, but you can do cuts, splices, many digital transitions, and very basic title and credits abilities. You certainly get your moneys worth.
