Had the worst day yesterday...!!! I get to the deal for the Ekra map (Super Duke). I turn the bike off, get off. I hear this hissing sound. I look done and there's a huge ass nail in my rear tire. Only 700+ on the tire. About 2 hours later and $350 later Im back heading home (got Michelin Pilot Power 2 cts put on). I then get pulled over, going 47 in a 25. I just wasn't paying attention...new tires, new map, new FMF pipes on, just enjoying the bike... He nails me with a ticket. I'm back home now. I'm taking my Jeep to my kick ball game, yes kick ball, its good shit. An excuse for grown men and ladies to drink. And I get pulled over again! I was on the highway, quarter after 6, so there was traffic, fast traffic. For safety reasons I deciding to pull over at the next exit (1 mile away as the Sheriff told me). So get off on the exit, there's a stop light. Im stopped at the light, he's right behind me, lights on. Light turns green, I make a left and pull over a block away. As soon as I stop and he stops, he's out his car at my door. First thing he says is why didn't you pull over when I lit you up? He was fired up!!! I said Sir, I didn't want to stop on 94 for safety reasons. His response, Ive never heard of that, as far as I know, you have a gun in the car, a warrant...safety reasons, you stay in your car, I'm the one that has to get out. I then said well then I was doing it for your consideration. He just wasn't buying it?????????? And that was my whole reason for pulling over on an exit. I don't get it. So he goes back to his car, writes me a ticket. I then ask him; so the only reason youre giving me a ticket is because I didn't pull over when you first lit me up. All he said was, have a nice day, drive safe. I watched him go back to his car and get in through my rear view, he was shaking his head when he got back in. I just don't get it........ I'll be fighting this one. He never came up and said Im so and so with the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Dept, the reason why I pulled you over is this... None of that shit! He was just pissed that I didnt pull over on the highway. Never told me why he pulled me over, never gave me a speed... The •••••• thing is, is that I'm applying for Milwaukee PD, they don't like speeding tickets. So my future is at stake. | ||

Most likely the reason he was tense about you not stopping right away is the time while driving factor. As you continue at a low speed, you are presenting to him a person needing time to hide something or stash something. A thing lots of intoxicated people do while they are figuring out their next move. I would bet he has safely made lots of traffic stops on the highway you are talking about. He has been trained to handle that. But that being said, you did have a bad day.  | ||

I wouldn't worry about getting into the Milwaukee PD... last I heard they were lookin' hard for people, think they will take just about anybody! LOL I had actually thought about a change in careers, but the wife said no way in hell would she move to Milwaukee! Again, that being said you had a bad day! I think I would of locked myself in the basement for a few days...  | ||

Not so about MPD, it took a friend of mine 7 years of applying with a criminal justice degree to actually get the gig... unless things have changed, you might be f*cked... sorry bro... look on the bright side at least you didn't smack the ass who wrote you the second ticket... and oh, btw they are hiring a security guard up at work... let me know if you are interested... this is Federal contract work and some serious stuff, no rental cop shit... and probably a step in the right direction... or a stepping stone...  | ||

Jesus. I was NOT drinking and driving, otherwise I'm sure I would have gotten busted for that too. The team went out to the bar after the game, I opted to just go home... And I was on a Super Duke for the first ticket. And to top all this off, yesterday I find out that one of my USMC buddies was killed. Undercover officer, drug deal gone bad... I'm debating if I should even go ride right now... | ||

yes kick ball, its good shit. Kick ball kicks ass! You know how far I could kick a ball now with this metal in my leg?! I had a day like that about 5 years ago on New Years Eve. Ran a red light because I was following a truck to close. Got a ticket for both of those. Got a speeding ticket on the way home from work as well. I feel your pain. Go ride...clear your head some... | ||

One of the footnoted modern editions like are contained in the New American Bible or the New King James. | ||
