I did the dreaded task of checking the air filter at 4k miles, it was surprisingly easy! I found all kinds of hidden treasures in my air filter, lady bugs, bee's, moths, grass, and dirt. I took a paper towel with some carb cleaner and wiped my throttle body down (lots of grim). My valves looked fairly clean (because of another thread I looked at them). I then put the air filter back on and used the air hose to blow out the hard to reach parts of the airbox sealing areas, and then wiped down the rest with a clean towel and water. 15 mins. max! | ||
