Back to the late 70's, early 80s today. This music takes me back to some very happy times. Here's the very classy, Patrice Rushen. Haven't You Heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCftFjEetq4 Forget me Nots. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2XhhuM9GZo Let there be Funk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59GxK3x-vqY Where there is love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b13_V9y5zo That last track was always "mood music" at the end of the evening, if you get my drift.

The Fugs kick ass. CIA Man was an anthem. For a the better part of the Summer of '83 in LA, I actually fronted an LA Punk band. The money was horrible and the women smelled unhealthy. Then I got smart, and found a moe lucrative gig cleaning swimming pools up in Pacific Palisades...and boosted Kurt Russel's T-shirt off his clothesline for my girl back in NY

These are 3 brothers who often play together but have solo careers also. Hailing from northern CA.- Robben (guitar)is probably the most well known and he's heard on records by G.Harrison,Joni Mitchell and Miles Davis among others. His brother Mark plays a mean harp and has recorded with his own band and brother Pat plays drums. They were named in honor of their father.
