Yeah, that CB1100 is really sweet. Fortunately, I have a BMW very similar to the one Fintan posted out in the garage for when I'm jonesing for a retro fix!

I liked it when manufacturers had different sized engines. The 450 wasn't designed for long hauls, but it was great around town. Now, you have your choice of 1000cc and larger just to go around town, but none of them get the gas mileage we got out of those older, smaller displacement bikes.

Boliver, it is amazing the number of new OEM parts I can get from Suzuki for my bike.

I am still getting parts for my 83 fxdg from harley in a timely manner. >1 week. Rocking the boat and dont know why...lol FUHD

No amazement really.You see, Suzuki believes in and stands behind what they build.Wouldn't it be nice if Harley did the same......Yeah I don't think Hell will freeze over either.I'm sure if I needed some chrome accessories the local HD guys could fix me right up though.

Hey,1125rcya,I can get all the parts you need for your '83 fxdg at my local Ace Hardware.right along side the lawn-mower parts.What they don't have in that isle,you can find in the plumbing section..........
