Here in Franklin, Indiana last year we had a couple of storms that created terrible flooding. I found myself volunteering for sandbag duty trying to save court house paperwork and equipment. I hope you’re above water. It sucks when your basement water level is almost to the top of the stairs.

That storm came through at work in Baraboo Wisconsin this afternoon. We had a tornado touch down on the installation about 1/2 mile from our building (at Badger Army Ammo Plant) had to go to the basement, twice even. Why is there always some idiot that runs outside to take a look? When a man wearing a side arm comes by and tells you to get in the basement, you get in the basement.

Hahaha.

Way too much rain going on around here this year.
Spoke with my Dad the other day, he figures he has at least 30 acres of crops that are flooded out.

I just got into Roanoke, VA after a week in Dubuque, IA. Tornados etc screwed up air traffic all over the midwest the past few days. Madison had 6" of rain from 7 pm-10 pm and three tornados touch down at or close to the airport. Dubuque, my old hometown, had 8" of rain last night and up to 2' of flood waters on some streets.

Der. it's been wet out there, eh?

I was watching the sinkhole thing last night. In the early shots, there was a water main dumping on the suv. I wonder where all the materials inside the sinkhole went.
