my wife, about ten years ago - a biker before i met her:
i met her at a concert at the 930 club in dc, when shane mcgowan and the pogues were playing. we talked briefly; she mentiooned she had an old guzzi, i told her about my old ducati & my buell. i didn't run into her again for 8 months, (actually, it took me that long to find her again), i asked her out, the rest is history! 
here's a more recent pic (two exposures) of her on my buell, courtesy of montgomery county speed cameras. (i was caught right in front of her on my duc...)

Char,I should have offered a ride that day.I found out the bottom end of my S2T is toast,so I sold the Guzzi to a good friend and will be picking up another S2 this week. |

yes, i am a lucky guy! my wife is still technically the owner of the guzzi, bit she left it in new mexico when she split. slim chance of ever recovering it. oh well. we will have to make do w/the '95 buell s2, the '78 ducati darmah, and the recently acquired 2000 suzuki dr650 that has been conwerted to a motard.
this dr650 was a steal, we got it for less than the cost of of wheels/tires to do a motard conwersion. it needs ~$300 to get it set up properly, but i have already committed another $300 to swap out the front end w/a newer set of inwerted forks, (w/proper race tech springs for the heavier dr650), from an rm250. this bike is going to be killer fun - i already put ~100 miles on it, and it's fun as-is. when it's done, it will be good for another quick-board thread.

Easy fix as the crank is the old bolt together version.
We gotta keep all the old S2's running!

It ain't so much the bottom end that is driving me nuts... it is having bigger BOOBS... usually don't need a bra, but with all this extra weight... jeezus... driving over those friggin bumps at work with a John Deere Gator, you would think I would need the Saran Wrap or something like Lady Gaga does... I can't believe some people pay for this shit...  |
