Start at 1:45 for first malfunction, then watch the rest. We were right underneath target area. I saw it coming, grabbed my wife and hit the floor. Couldn't shoot back, so I took cover. Thankfully it exploded about 10 feet in the air. Someone could have been really f-ed up. No major injuries thankfully. | ||

I don't know how they was allowed to shoot that show. The safe zone is beyond "the shell diameter,times 100 feet". So a six inch shell would require the spectators to be over 600 feet away.WTF??? | ||

HOLY CRAP!!! that's about the most colorful way to wreck a persons day! i thought it was bad when we were getting rained on by embers from the show here on Schofield Barracks. | ||

Well, glad you're all ok. It's 14th july tomorrow, Bastille Day here in France, so there'll be firework displays all over tonight & tomorrow night too. They're having one in the village for the 1st time tonight so I'll probably take the boy to that & then a big one up near the city tomorrow. There're very few accidents here as it's extremely closely regulated. |
