So my question is about the mounting brackets for the chin guard. Anyone know what metal they are made from and how it connects to the pipe? I am planning to buy an SS but the right bracket is reportedly cracked.

they are steel. and you could just weld it, or kevin could get you a new one.

its been so long since i put mine on that without looking at it i cant remember where it mounts on the motor, but its not difficult.
