After the sad loss of my 1125CR to the flood, and having to fit a lot of the repair bill on my own, I had to go cheap. Picked up a Kawasaki Versys for very little cash. It's like a little baby Ulysses. It's quite fun to ride, but I miss the power of the 1125.

Would have got another Buell, but honestly I didn't want to buy parts from HD.

I'll always be a Bueller at heart. : )

Cool bike! It's definitely in the running for my next bike. I'm glad you're back on two wheels.

Nice bike! I was pondering one myself as a secondary bike for a while. The new model of that bike has a kinda ugly fairing, you got a good one, and the blue is sharp.

Kawasaki has always done a great job of taking unremarkable pieces and turning them into a surprisingly fun whole. Hard to beat them in terms of bang for the buck.

Don't discount the little six-fiddy. It isn't a powerhouse, but it's make very useable power. If you don't plan on riding in triple digit speeds, it won't disappoint you.

I really expected to be underwhelmed, but decided to give it a look because it was cheap, and big enough to be comfortable for me.

Blame Barker, he suggested it. : )

Too bad there is a dealer in northern Illinois selling 1125CR's for $5400 could have replaced the lost one. Have fun on that Versys nice bike.
