Ok, so I couldn't help myself and I hope you can understand why.

I get emails from Harley on a regular basis, and I see this contest for a new bike and some rider's edge courses. I actually clicked the link because of the girl.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Content/Pages /2010c/ss/start-something.html?source_cd=Email_006 0110_JuneNL&camp_id=16

Anyway, while signing up, they ask you if you currently own a bike and if so, choose it out of the list. They must list 10 manufacturers or so and Buell isn't even in the list! Of course, I chose "other" and put Buell in the model category.

I thought this was too funny and I am sure I will get flamed for signing up for a free bike. HEY, ITS STILL A FREE BIKE!!

HD has never admitted Buell was by far their best product ever. Why would they even acknowledge they ever existed?I'm sure the HD big wigs would just soon forget what happens when your employees make a better bike than they ever did.Erik Buell is the reason most Harleys ride and perform as well as they do.If HD could admit this they would have never treated Erik as they did.I think there is more to this whole Buell HD thing than most of the general public will ever know. What I can say is my 2005 Xb will be the first and LAST HD product I ever own.

I should enter, then I could trade in whatever POS I end up winning for a REAL motorcycle.

According to a German site, 96 lbs/ft of torque starting as low as 2,000 rpm, and between 160-170 hp on the top.

Now THAT'S a touring bike!!

I signed up for an expensive model and put a sappy line in... I'll save my assassination for the winning ceremony. "Mr. Malott, where are you going to ride your brand new Harley?"

"Right to the dealer that will buy it back, so I can get on something I'm not embarrassed to ride, like a moped or something!"
