"Make legal easier, illegal harder. Imprison those who exploit."
I have a better and cheaper idea, zip line them out the back of a C-130 to the farthest away boarder for the USA. We can use them to judge our accuracy of predicting wind currents and altitude need to make it from international airspace onto the land of the country they came from.
Perhaps Reindog overstated that EVERY BadWebber needs to be on top of this. Only the BadWebbers that are US citizens really need to be on top of this. I'm guessing that's over 95% though. It's time to start enforcing our boarders. I don't care what your political beliefs are, this is an issue that is hurting all US citizens. Politicians that turn their back on this issue need to go ASAP!
Bigblock is right on target. What with the drilling rigs being shut down we are about 20,000 jobs lost here in this state and the marsh is full of wet backs.
The Left just keeps getting more sick and twisted." Section 834b of the California Penal Code that deals with immigration law enforcement at the local level is almost identical to Arizona's "racist" law. Funny how Jerry Brown is ensuring that California law is not enforced. Time to oust all Liberal Fascists.
As yet a rumor which is unsubstantiated: The next step for Arizona will be to eliminate the use of "anchor babies" to keep Illegals in the state of Arizona, birth parents BOTH must be in country legally at the time of the childs delivery. This will repeal a law which was contrived during our dark era in African slavery, children of slaves born on American soil are Americans not Africans. Something to think about!

I really don't understand the whole thing. AZ can't pass a law that would control who is a US citizen, so I don't understand the whole premise. Anchor babies should not be used as an excuse for not deporting illegal aliens though. There's not reason to separate families, just send them all back. No problem.
I don't see any link to slavery other than the fact that illegals are the new cheap labor that skirts any sense of ethical behavior.
....new cheap labor that skirts any sense of ethical behavior.
Indentured servitude? Perhaps that fits better.
True, as slavery goes it pales beside the African slaves as sold by the arabs to the Europeans in the New World, or the slavery of Sharia law. It does compare well with the 18th century company towns & mines. (maybe 19th, early 20th in some places, here in America.
I agree we have to keep the definition true. Misusing a word distorts it's meaning. Factory owners exploiting criminal labor is on the marginal side. There aren't guys with guns & dogs to keep you on the plantation anymore. Slave to the bank? No. You can pay off your own damn credit cards.
Contrived?
Certainly all laws that legitimize oppression are contrived. By bad people, don't you agree? Just so the laws to restrict the State. ( but by good people, IMHO )
If a law's purpose is no longer served, because the conditions it is meant to control are no longer reality, the law should be tossed. Maybe. Unless that condition is likely to return.
In any event some laws are going to be changed, they always are. The idea is for them to work better, not screw us over.
Work better, good. Screw us over, bad. Oh, and I'm in the "slavery bad" camp. I'm mostly against indentured servitude, except Apprentice type relationships ( interns ) are very old and proven.
Being mostly Kanawha and Cherokee I think I should be paid a bounty for every Illegal I Elim AAAAA Apprehend! You think you won. Indians dont die of lung cancer. Smoking is let s see what we can get this pale face to do
I'd be happy to eat legal burritos. Illegal burritos can go back to their own country. If we find ourselves suffering from a burrito shortage we can always open up work visas for burrito makers and let them in under the law.
Like I said, you need a road trip. Only then will you understand Mexican food. You are right though, it was a hole in the wall place we stopped at in El Rosario.
