I've now got my trailer loaded and ready to pull out on Tuesday (my wife was not ready for a 15 hr cycle ride).

With storms passing through and work I figured I better get this done.

I'm leaving from Richmond, going near Pittsburgh and hope to make it to Toledo sometime Tuesday night.

Can't wait to meet everybody.

Blur, blur, blur...
Do it like the Harley riders do, haul it to the run, and then pull over, unload, and ride it in!

im only 6 hours away and i haul every year. doesnt bother me at all. but then again im surprised its come off the track in one piece all the time... knock knock... and every other year i have always brought at least 2 of my bikes so i can swap with the mood and use. but this year it will just be the 1125r and the gf's xb9slr.

and i do have to cut it short this year and leave thursday night so i can stop half way back and be in my sisters wedding that weekend. grrr...

WHAT does the plate on the trailer say?
I could add one vowel and make a mess of this whole thread.....................
Have a safe journey.

and just an observation, you may want to get a lower draw bar for your hitch. they dont usually wander as much when the trailer is level or even a hair lower in the front. it puts more bias to the front of the trailer, and right now it looks like there isnt to much weight on the front of that trailer with the axle where it is and the bikes loaded like that.

but then again if your hooked to the bumper it kind of is what it is isnt it lol.

The trailer is hooked to a hitch.

The picture is a little misleading as the truck in going down an incline and pushing the tongue of the trailer up.

When I am on a flat surface the trailer is level.

I left Tampa yesterday at 1;00 pm. Terrible time to leave Tampa. Cooked into GA. Got into Chattanooga 10:30 last night. Up early and heading to see family in KY for a few days. Rain in the forecast today. Better hit the road. Have a safe trip all and I'll see you in East Troy.

We just did a test fit for the bikes in a 16 foot long enclosed toy hauler. They go in and lock down very nice on chocks. You aren't the only one trailering up. Last year we all rode, but this year there is a track day and we are in attendance.

Looks like you're all set! We'll see ya up there on Tuesday!

Hillis - you coming through the DC area? Kim and I are still debating...but we may ride out on the Uly, 2-up (she doesn't have the ...um... "dorsal fortitude"? to ride her Blast out). Always like to hook up with other folks on longer rides, "just in case" : ) We're planning a 2-day'er, Tue/Wed....maybe going across Big Mac : )

Joe,

I plan on cutting up 17 toward Cumberland, so I will be fairly close.
I am leaving Tuesday around noon (have to work that morning) and would be near Cumberland around 4:00. We are planning to stop somewhere along the way and stay the night. Finish travels Wednesday. If it doesn't throw your schedule off let me know and we can try to work out something.

I HATE packing !!! Hate hate hate it... When I was a kid I was packing every other weekend to travel to some part of the midwest to compete in sports... Cincinnati, Tulsa, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Fayetteville... I mean every weekend from the ages of 12 to 18...

Today I am making a list and attempting to get it all loaded on the Piglet... I think I got almost everything I need... if I were staying in a hotel or riding the M2 it would be really easy, but I am camping and trying to bring a stove and coffee...

This will be interesting... will post some photos today... I know I am just being a whiney baby about it, but it should get interesting...
