Here is the link.

Here is the situation... Lynn and I use the Blueant Interphone and I like it. However, the battery in mine runs out (2 years old) at about the 300 mile mark so about 5 hours of use. We actually do not talk much, I just point out hazards and tell her that her blinker is still on.

I need something that I can use with bike power and this looks like it will fill the bill with the optional power cord.

What I am wondering is can I pair the Bluetooth in this unit to Lynn's Blueant and talk that way? In other words is the GMRS the only way to talk bike to bike?

And also, any general impressions would be helpful as well..

Thanks

Frank

I have it and love it. Sound quality with the full face helmet setup is great. Not sure about bluetoothing it to her system but it might be worth a try. I have one on my bike and the wife has one on hers. They work very well. Mine bluetooths with my Zumo which bluetooths with my phone I can answer calls straight from my zumo. It has a PTT button I mount on my left handgrip and just push it to talk to the wife. When listening to music the music quitens down when the wife/GPS/phone cuts in.

You could contact Chatterbox directly and ask them or go to any chatterbox dealer and try it out in there.

Jimmy, I have been in contact with them and they have answered all my questions so far save that one, I happy to hear you have had a good experience with them.

I really like the Blueant but the battery is my biggest complaint. I made a harness to power it from the bike but when power is applied it shuts off for recharging so that will not work.

Thank you for the input..

Frank

Have you contacted BlueAnt? They have great customer service, and a 3 year warranty. I bet if you told them that the battery life is now 1/2 of what is advertised, they will send you new ones. I had a minor issue with one of our Interphones....they just sent me another.

I sold my X1 no BT and plan on getting a Scala G4. Talked to a buddy while he was on his 1125R at 60 and I thought he was talking to me while standing, I heard nothing but him.
