Did anybody else catch the skit on Leno, the Cop and the Kitty? They had a quick chase with a Firebolt involved.

Yea its part of the gag, "he" ends up making out with Leno, then he finds out later that something does not belong.

Man, I'd rather see Conan or Letterman with the Buell. Oh well, props to Jay.

Hey now... let's have some "Jay Love" here. The man is a tireless proponent for motorcycling! Would Conan or Dave even know how to START a motorcycle??

Jay can support motorcycles all he wants, but his show is supposed to be funny, and it's not.

Yeah I don't ever think Jay was funny. But the guy loves all things mechanical, and has a boatload of knowledge.

His personal XB12R is red. Could be he has more than one I suppose...

Jay usually shows up at the Rock Store on Sundays around 11, but you never know what he'll show up in or on. He's a real gearhead.

One time I saw him ride in on that turbo-engined "jet" bike, another time on his Vincent Black Shadow and a few times in a Cobra and vintage Vettes. The last time I saw him was on PCH in Malibu. He was going north in a red '58 Vette, me in my orange Manx SR going south and, as we passed, he gave a double take with head swiveling around when I gave a big wave. It had to be him -- nobody's got a chin that BIG!; )

Jay is a heck of a nice guy. Considering he's recognized everywhere he goes. He handles the public as though everyone is his close personal friend...
I've spoken to him on many occasions, at the Rock Store, and he's always been friendly and accommodating, especially with the particulars of the vehicle du jour.

Even watched as he allowed a child to climb into, the driver's seat, of one of his 30's vintage roadsters; then proceed to mug it up so the kid's dad could take a photo.

Jay knows his audience, and knows how to treat them...
