Segar has some of the best lyrics..."Who's going to ride that Chrome 3 wheeler. Who's going to make that first mistake....."

Born to be Wild is the anthem of a generation....or 2.

Meatloaf had "Bat.." the song angsty young rebels wish they could be.... and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", that brings back memories you might not even have....

But Arlo..... I've been caught singing that song so many times. He got the vote.

love me some meatloaf

wasted youth
So I took my guitar,
And I smashed it against the wall
I smashed it against the floor
I smashed it against the body of a varsity cheerleader
Smashed it against the hood of a car

Smashed it against a 1981 Harley Davidson
The Harley howled in pain,
The guitar howled in heat

not totally a motorcycle song but I listen to quite a bit of meatloaf when I ride

I've always like Motorbiking by Chris Spedding and spent a lot of time singing Riders On The Storm inside of my helmet during wet rides.

Steveford: Spedding! Spedding! You must be as old as I am! I was gonna post "Motorbiking". I am amazed that anyone in the US knows the song/artist.
Good call! I used to cram a cassette walkman on my bike when couriering in the UK. Spedding ruled for a long time on my playlist.

OK Buellers:

Reckless Kelly, "Wicked Twisty Road".

Van Eaton, "Two Wheels"

Rush, "Red Barchetta" +1.

The Fixx, "Camphor", from the album "Walkabout".

Now I gotta go replace the kill switch on the old Shovel.

I'm off tomorrow, forecast is SUNNY in the low 70's!!! : ) : ) : )
