Oldog,

Sorry about your luck crusty old biker dude. You never know where the perfect person might find you and it'll happen when you ain't lookin'. Like maybe when you're on a bike trip with other old crusty biker dudes in Franklin, North Carolina and someone gives you notice at the Hot Spot while you're filling your gas tank. Ya just never know. ; )

I'm with Tepiddeath on this one. The whole on-again, off-again thing can carry on for a long time. It's a power trip on one person's part.

It's also OK to be alone. Sometimes it's better.

Jim,

None of us are perfect. We've all got our little oddities.

Being one of the oddest people to walk the planet, I feel like I speak on good authority when I say that you are one of the most pleasant, least "odd" people I know. You have so much to offer friends and girl friends alike. In order to care about people, you have to open yourself up to the possibility of personal injury.

You ain't dead yet. There are other women who would love to be in a relationship and would find you perfect for the position.

Hang in there. You are worth it.

"It is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all. "

I believe people who say that have never really loved someone and then lost them.

the man that travels alone can start and set off NOW; he that travels with a woman must wait until she has bought shoes, outfits, luggage, called her friends......
