That Harley video sux balls. You can straight and fast on any bike. Where were the corners the wheelies, all the real fun! It looks like a bunch of punk degenerates.
freakin lame. I'll keep that crappy excuse for a Sportster in mind the next time I'm 25 and feel like not wearing protective gear on my way to the gas station to hang out and buy some beef jerky...
Duc add, pretty cool. 48 add is lame as can be. tells me that the bike is nothing but a bar hopper and since i don't go out drinking anymore i really have no use for the bike.
I always loved that Buell commercial. As a matter of fact, I have it on my IPOD. It was great to occasionally watch it during business flights to help forget about the winter in Chicago.
Does anybody have a higher resolution version? I have been looking for one.
Noticed one glaring difference between Ducati, buell Ktm ads and the H/D ads. The h/d ads promotes some kind of lifestyle or image, the others promote their bikes abilities and the joy of riding
I knew that first one was Santa Barbara... I spent three weeks there once camping up in the hills and someone took me out on the back of thier bike up above the city... too freakin' cool baby...
I with W-bueller, those adds make me want to go out and remove alot of rubber from my tires!
The "48" is a joke to me. That look and H-D attitude is getting soft in it's old age. H-D will always sell to a particular crowd but it's numbers are dwindling.
ok I am 25 and the Harley commercial did nothing for me. in fact it turned me off. it looked like a nostalgic look into the 60's or 70's or some era that I did not participate in and obviously have no knowledge of. "FAT TIRES" cool that's GREAT is it a dump truck? don't they know kids these days are nick naming the cool looking tires rubber bands? "everybody" wants big wheels and THIN tires with sidewalls you measure in nanometers. fat tires are the in thing on the back with a swing arm that is 3 feet long and a 400 series tire hanging out back but up front?!?! no.. just no... and that balloon of a tire looks like it came off a bike from WWII. I don't think my car has that much sidewall much less my bike. get this bike from 1948 and go slow in town.. ROFL yea right kuz that's what I want to do!
the ducati commercial made me want to go out and buy a hyper like NOW. NIN for the soundtrack and him slapping cones with the back tire! everything said this is a FAST bike. I wish they had a better stunter in the end but I still liked the video anyway and regardless that is a bad bike.
the Buell commercial is very cool but the hyper was cooler, partly because of the time that they came out. the Buell most likely was the equivalent to the hyper ad of today.
that KTM commercial doesn't do it for me nor does the one for the RC8 because it lakes relative motion like the hyper ad but these ones KTM ads do look sweet.
The 48 reminds me of the fairy tale of the Emperor's New Suit, just because they tell you it's marvelous, you don't have to believe it. Shortly after it's release, some sculptor did his rendition of the 48, and it was laughable, since it didn't look much different than a dime store toy sportster. I posted this pic on twitter and amazingly no-one found the humor in it... http://twitpic.com/12f4nx
