Many ads try to take a humorous angle. Might only rate a smirk at best but I see the attempt. I liked the bad santa ads from a couple years ago. That old ad where the guy has to start the Harley to get the infant back to sleep was cute. Can't find it.

Their youth ads likely won't appeal much beyond those who already were inclined to buy. Most younger riders want performance and HD fails at that. If they are going to channel a past glory maybe they should try "The Wrecking Crew".
Been in the Military for awhile 16 years now and I think guys my age are the last of the H-D fans. Plenty of Yamaharleys to be seen since you can pick up a Suzuki Blvd for $5K less it makes perfect sense. The dorms are full of 600s and 750 rockets and I dont see the newest crop ever going that way. New generation and all new technology where everything they know is FAST. Phones, Comps, Cars, Planes, Chicks, Web.....HD bling is yesterday.

If you go by 15% of the total number of Harley Davidson Motorcycles shipped in 2009 that would give you 33,400 +/- Harley Davidson Motorcycles sold to the Target Age Group of 35 and under. Any way you look at it that is a substantial amount of Harley Davidson Motorcycles sold to the younger Riders.
