Mine traveled 300 miles to be at my surprise "B"day party and brought the best gifts. I'm holding one and wearing the other.

So, Iman501, if you don't like her mom, ditch her.

A REALLY good mother in law would have stayed home and sent the gifts by mail!

Gospel, my boy. Truth.

I broke up with a girl because her mother was a wack job.

And if you want to know what she will look like in 20 years, look at the mom.

Thanks, it was last Wed. Dirty rotten 50.

Both of the parents carried. Unfortunately he has passed away. He was an incredible parent and I have trouble at times living up to my wife's expectations of what a dad is supposed to be. Makes me work at it. Mine left when I was 6.

Mothers-in-law are like seeds,

You don't need them but they come with the tomato.

and a body builder in my case.

Cool deal Ourdee...I'm lucky enough to have some pretty kickass in laws. Also hooking us up with stuff. Even get to ride their bikes when my leg is healthy enough to do so.

Way back in the "just friends" stage of our relationship, my wife's mom would send me care packages because she thought that I "needed some home cooking" shame her daughter didn't get that gene. LOL!
