I figured I'd start a new thread since the old one's been archived.

Just saw this on Tail of the Dragon's Facebook page- the Richard Russell Parkway, a great road in the area of April Buell's Day, is closed indefinitely:

First the Dragon is closed and now this.

Trust me, this needed to be done.
It's always marginal, and requires some scouting before a ride.
The section they are talking about is pretty bad off.
I was one of the people that went around the barricade a couple of weeks ago.
Not pretty.
I'm just thankful it'll be fixed.
