Run about five miles each morning to clean out the lungs. Bigger hits.

VOLCANO!!!

Those are the best. Volcano's remind me of Buells actually. Probably the whole ingenuity thing.

Pretty sure I heard Willie Nelson uses one.

...

Also I'm pleasantly surprised about how many people on this board support the legalization. So now I ask... If so many people of this 'country of the people' support it.

Then why the hell cant we just take a damn vote as a people and legalize it as a people?!?!

I hope California does. When the Feds try to prevent the legalization of pot in California, it will be interesting to see how "state's rights" the residents of California become.

I will laugh my butt off when both California and Alabama are on the same side of an argument. : D

I believe the Cross-Joint is at the epicenter of weed smoking technology.

Its worth every penny! The effect is different ( better by far ), alot less mucus,no coughing, all around more pleasant. Long term, very noticeable!

The only problem is its so smooth you can just go through more.

wish i got mine for $500

sorry for the high jack

Long ago, ( I think Carter was Prez. ) a buddy of mine had his thesis in economics rejected at U of R and had to do a new one. The rejected one analyzed the effects of "Item 9" legalization and taxation. Bottom line was the total payoff of the national debt in 10 years. More like 20 now, but still......

It was not a stoner messed up thesis, he did real good work on it, and the "real" one on ( if I recall ) dairy farm projections wasn't nearly as good IMHO. Not nearly as funny, no Cheech & Chong hidden references in that one.... but, hey, he got the paperwork.....

All in all a good idea to legalize, tax the sale & allow the growing for personal use. It would cut crime.

Some people can't handle it. But less than booze, acid, or politics.

Although the time horzions don't quite match up the numbers of folks who drink at least some alcohol and those who have used or use pot are pretty close:

My guess is that those who don't drink would probably not smoke pot were it legal.

Anyone who is against legalization of pot is either ill informed or stands to lose money.

As to the former group, they are slowly learning the truth.

As to the latter group... tough titty.

The one potential downside that I can see is a possible increase of neighborly violence. Sure is going to be tempting when those big fat buds of White Witch the guy next door is growing are getting close to harvest.

If I were in Cali, and looking for a way to capitalize on the coming shift in the wind, I'd consider offering secure enclosures for that legal 25-square-foot garden.

Well, I guess that's 25-square feet if you live by yourself. Twice that if you are a couple, I suppose. Might even make it worthwhile inviting granny to come live with you, which would take it up to 75-square-feet.

Wait a minute... what about an old folk's home? Each one of those geezers is worth 25-square-feet. This new legalization bill might offset the cost of living in the old folk's home. I know the cost of pot is going to come down, but still... you might get room and board just for your garden plot? "Happy Acres Generic Green. Bad Bud from the Old Timers."

Or something like that?

As others have said, it's going to be interesting to see what happens next should this bill become law. The whole state's rights issue will be up for grabs.

Thirty three years after my first hit. I live in a city that has had one of the highest percentages of marijuana use in North America since the early sixties. I never ride while buzzed, hold down a full time and a nearly full time job, would never waste my time on crap like cocaine or the people who do it, and have yet to meet one person for whom weed was the "gateway drug" to harder intoxicants. Despite the countless studies (most noteably the Ledain Commission Report of the 60's, which pointed out the greatest danger of weed use were it's legal ramifications) that call for, at the very least, de-criminalization, "Reefer Madness" is still a government tool. I just wish that the five friends that I've lost to substance abuse would have been weedmonkeys instead of alcoholics and/or cocaine addicts. They'd probably still be here.
