Love the 1125R so far 730 miles and some burnt rubber! It reminds me of a 2 stroke except the power-band is how fast you can twist the throttle. The darnest thing happened today while ridding, I took off in 3rd gear (lol)... If tried that on my shovel or any shovel for that matter I'd gone no ware fast maybe even fouled spark plug . The seat kind of hurts my a$$ and I have to do the one leg lean stop this makes for tricky hills. South Side Indy HD/Buell did my first service for way less than they quoted over the phone with suspension adjustment (Great service guys). Having the suspension adjusted for 170 lbs fixed tons of handling problems now it fits more like a glove rather than pair of 3 day old underwear with skivvy's! The height of the bike come down a little bit and I am only 160 lbs I wonder if i should try and adjust the rear shock a little more? Any thought's...by the way who else hears a hum about 2800 rpm clutch in or out, this makes me wonder if it's just the new belt on a new pulley? Michael(lol not Micheal) |

If you dont like the seat, try a Corbin. They have a slightly different profile and are very comfortable. The down side is that the edges on the Corbin are more squared off, so it makes the bike seem taller. Another option is to try wearing cycling shorts under your pants for longer rides. |

Took my 2008 out yesterday, I've only got about 250 miles on it. They sure do make a lot of weird noises. It definitely sounds "European" to me - whatever the hell that means. |

It is slightly taller, but the square profile on the sides spreads your legs a bit more when you are at a stop making it seem taller than it is. It is a trade off for being more comfortable while riding. |

Ya I keep remembering the sound of Ducati when I was riding my GSXR750 back in 1997! That was a cool sweet sound but they werent known for speed . You know us 1125R owners have the best of 2 worlds Turns & power |

Today I shifted through 1,2,3rd and the front wheel came up every gear but 4th was the slow down speed due to a church coming up! My old man didnt make fun of me for wearing my helmet, jacket and gloves a true Harley Fan like I am a Buell fan! |
