Still kinda drunk? Haha I don't know how it works in other towns but here in cleveland we have a big st pattys day parade, and down town is filled with everyone drinking and running the streets bar hopping. Pretty much the only day you can get away with a public intox and walkin up the street with beer. Me and my friends started at 8am yesterday morning and I was back home at 1130.. was a great day. Man I love being 21 now haha |

On a sociological level, I find it interesting that people like to boast about being inebriated. This phenomena was first brought to my attention when I realized that in pictures and video of people drinking almost every individual either toasts the camera or shows off the fact that they are drinking. There appears to be some kind of pride involved with losing one's faculties. This seems to be a universal human trait- not restricted to borders or culture. I wonder if this behavior has been studied, because I find it fascinating. |

My in-laws were in town. They frown on drinking of any type. I went to bed and awoke stone sober. I don't like being "drunk". I've never passed out or thrown up from drinking. To me that simply isn't fun. |

Oh I don't think getting that drunk is fun either, esp often. Last time I was "drunk" was almost 2 months ago for my 21st bday... I was the most sober person out of the whole group yesterday don't know if that's anything, ha but none of us passed out or threw up. That and talking to everyone today I'm the only one who didn't wake up hung over feeling sick. And I made it to work today at 615 am!!! |

I didnt drink for like...4 years (used to pary allways) then one year (about 8 years ago) I went to AC for new years, first I took 4-200mg ibruprofen + 2-asprin + ate dinner and downed 3/4 of a bottle of Bacardi 151 (with coke). We took a video camera with us and there is lots of embarrassing moments of me in the room explaining to my friends why I felt I was "OK" to go back down to casino...or walk on the beach. LOL My explanation was very convincing,... I and I felt fantastic!! (looked like an idiot of course) I was jumping from bed to bed,.. (once bounce over,...once bounce back) I seemed to have excellent coordination... even though I almost hit my head on ceiling. My last jump.. I flipped over the bed and tumble sauced onto the floor. Still had my cigarette in my hand with its' large ash hanging off of it and I noted that very loudly to my friends. Don't remember much more. Luckily, I fell asleep before I could get up off the floor. Absolutely no hangover the next day. I thought that was strange. I just started drinking beer again (after being dry for 10 years) because alittle alcohol is good for the heart... and it tasted GREAT! (only casual, with dinner or whatnot, not more than 3 per day or less) I was in Baltimore a month ago, I ate at the ESPNzone and tried a Dog Fish 60 minutes THAT beer is freakin AWESOME!! Crab cakes down there are mouthwatering too. Tír na nÓg in Baltimore I had: MARYLAND CRAB CAKE WITH LEMON BUTTER SAUCE Seasoned pan fried crab served with pan roasted potatoes, greens, lemon, capers and pinenuts - $20 IT-WAS-UNBEFREAKINLEAVABLE!! I remember standing in the bleachers/stands at the mummers parade on broad st in Phila in the 1980's... and projectile vomiting onto the girls in front of us. It was freezing cold out and my puke froze. (frozen puke doesnt stink as bad) No, .. I didn't get her number, but I did try. |

Mike, next time try Backfin Pale Ale by Clay Piper Brewing. They are a MD brewing company. http://www.cpbrewing.com/default.asp?iId=FMKIME It is great with crab cakes. There is nothing better then a sunny day picking crabs and drinking a few of Backfin ales. |

Is it kind of backwards that I didn't drink a drop and went to work today.... and my boss had called out. There were mentions of facespace pics and that he found the pot o' gold at the bar and drank free all night. Besides, it's not St Patty's day to me. It's my sister's birthday. It was supposed to be mine too, but I was 10 days late. |

It's not that I like being drunk, It's just that I hate myself sober. |

SWEEEEETTTT The Beer Fairy loves you all. Being human requires some extra facilities. Knowing how to consume/metabolize what's needed, food and spring water, is crucial. Salud!!! |
