Well... the tax man was nice to me this year, my bonus at work was nearly twice what I was expecting on top of a recent raise, I just sold my ex-girlfriend's bike for her and she kicked over some commission AND I sold my old Sportster. So basically, I got a pocket full of cash and just opened up two spots in the garage. I wasn't planning on buying another bike, but damn... this is hard. I think I have a disease.

Get a red 1125R to go with the CR. Or buy a Ural.

Do what Reep and I did . . . wait till Harley gets to $7.00 a share again . . dump in all your money and hold on till it gets to $28.00 sell . . .buy the bikes and put the rest in an index fund.

: )

It worked.

Then again, if you spend it, your govmt won't see it in your accounts & try to swipe it.

Court - I wish I could afford to take a risk like that - the amount we're talking here would make a serious profit if that were to happen again.

I think I'm going to try and be responsible with it - pay the credit card off (that was always in the plan), pay off some other debt I have, and keep enough aside to put a roof on my house this summer. The rest will go towards bikes, but just parts - need to fix the CR from wreck still and the S3T will need a few things before the homecoming trip in June.

Worked great! After the Harley rectal-crani-otomy closing Buell, I rolled that stock into Ford. That's up 20% since then as well.

Keep those stock tips coming Court! : )

I am putting it under my mattress this time... last professional job I lost 55% of my 401K money... enough to buy a CR in the fire sale...

Mark,
I'd hire some out of work roofers by the hour under the table. And just supervise the job. There would be a paid lunch with steaks cooked on the grill. Gateraid, ice water and lemonaid would flow freely. Might even rent a Porta-John, I don't want tar on the carpet.

"another thought would be to check with manpower"}
