do any of the sponsors have a deluxe tank bag in stock, or check to see if they can get one? |

Honestly, for the money, there are better bags. |

Another good brand. The Buell stuff isn't bad, but if you can't find the Deluxe Bag, it isn't the end of the world. |

i'm not dead set on the deluxe bag. i don't have any experience with tank bags, and figured the buell bag would work out of the box. |

Yes, till you put it back in the box and not use it anymore because it fell apart |

Who made it, Joe Rocket? I was thinking of a Manta but several people said the stitches rotted and the bag fell apart. Not sure what to do as time is coming to start riding to work and I need something for the items I need to bring every day. I need to look back at the cortech threads and see how it works on an XB "tank". |

0 problems with my standard Buell tank bag. Seems many have had issues, not me. Mine works great. |

Thanks for the link. Here's what I'm finding... Everything is either way too small or way too big. I understand that many people who buy luggage buy it because they go on long trips and need the space, but there are a huge number of people that also commute and need something different. I'll keep looking to see what I find. |

FT Do they mount ok on the XBS? |

The shorter tail makes it a little more challenging, but they do mount. Neil mounted a set on his wife's SCG with no problems. What ends up happening is that part of the cross strap ends up on the rear of the rider saddle. Given the alternatives out there, the Cortech bags fit the best of what is available IMHO. Another option might be the Tourmaster Deluxe Tail bag. It's large and easy to mount.

FT Thx for the advice. If you come across any pics of the bags on An XB9s or whatnot please post them. If none exist so be it. |

From what I've seen in other posts, the Cortech Sport saddlebags don't look like they fit too well on our tails ... but the Tri-bag (larger) saddlebags look fine with that thick strap across the pillion. Anybody else actually have the Cortech Tri-bag saddlebags with some input? |

Hey Theshue, I may have a slightly used one (only crashed once)at home. Let me check tonight and if I find it, I'll send it to you free (sort of my homage to Crusty). I'll shoot you a PM in the morning. |

I got the Buell regular tank bag and the zipper broke on the last big trip I took. Last week I took it to a Shoe repair place they are fixing the zipper for $30.00 |
