Just the one flash hit. I'd like an array of slaves, but I don't really make enough dough out of it, or need often enough to justify the $US250 for the trigger.
Dave, Have you tried setting the flash off by hand? Set the flash to 1/8 power and walk around the bike from different angles to evenly light up the bike. One flash and no trigger required.
Here is one of my Mustang ISO 100, f18, 15 sec I do not remember the power setting on the flash, but I set it off at least 6 times:
This one the car is a little over done. I did not have much time to shoot this one, the security guard was giving me a hassle about shooting on the property.
I used to do the walk-around trick with the flash out in the woods. You can get some interesting effects if you can stay hidden from the camera when the flash fires each time.
I have no idea how it would workout with digital images, but looks like Mike above has it figured out. Neat stuff.

Mikej, Would like to see some of those shots in the woods.
Todays Photo's
Took this one on the Burger Run last April with Court. Took this one riding the Uly at 30 MPH one handed over my shoulder. This has been done in HDR. Some Might not like the over done prossesing but I like this one.

The old pics are on film buried deep in a box someplace which I hopefully still have. Most were 35mm, but some were with a Hasselblad I had for a while (had to sell it while between jobs to pay rent for a few months). Some of the medium format stuff was taken out in the Mojave desert at night back when I had few responsibilities.
What does it take these days to scan film (negatives and slides) into digital format?
I'm sure getting the bug again. Might have to float the M2 on craigslist and see how close I could get to getting set up again.
Probably the wrong forum to ask this but how long can you keep a digital lens recording one image in low light before weird stuff starts to become apparent in the image? I thought I read once that just 30-60 seconds even when stopped down, but that's probably wrong. Looks like I've got some searching to do. I'm not even sure if I still have my old exposure guides. Too many moves.
Dave, Did you try that walk around flash yet? I have not surfed since 1985. To heavy and out of shape. I would die out there. Now I just enjoy it from this side of the lens. Its nice that I can watch my son out there.
Not yet - been in writing mode and next test bike is a Guzzi Stelvio. Not really a night time sexy shot bike - more cover it in dust and snap it in a paddock job.
