Yeah so I figure I'll go to the Harley shop in Orem, UT to get a new clutch cable for my 98 S-1W. To my dispay they wanted to charge $60!! Then I find out its not the same cable as what's on my bike. Luckily I had examined my cable as it was on my bike and the one they had at the counter.

So nevermind the price at this point. Now I'm worried that I'll even get the correct cable.

If someone can provide me with a part number fo the white Lightning 1998 clutch cable or a Harley/former Buell dealership that actually knows about Buells, I'd be much obliged.

What was different? I'll check at work tomorrow, but I'm sure there've been supersessions in the last 12 model years...

I like the American Sport Bike price: $52 and they even have the stainless steel, which is what I want! Want to find out what brand they actually are though.

Here's the one I was originally thinking of by Barnett. The mfg part number the seller lists is diff than what Barnett has one their site, which in itself is not very specific.

I ended up buying the one on the link. It's a Barnett cable. They actually answered my email.

The one that American Sport Bike sells is Motion Pro. Good cables and all but I don't know anything about them. And the Barnett design sold me with it's pitch that its supposed to reduce clutch pull by 40%.
