I have Coachmen Blast 170 toy hauler. Not huge, but big enough for my Wife, Son, me, race bike and all our stuff. Pulls easy behind our Durango (yes, it's gotta Hemi) | ||

Hey Xenox, I am a pipeliner so I tend to drag up and relocate a lot.I decided to go with a 33' bumper pull with a 12' slide out with a washer and dryer in it.It is big enough to live in for long periods of time and I can spend my Sundays off riding instead of doing laundry.I put the bike in the back of a F250 and hook up the trailer and when I get there I roll put the awning and park my bike underneath.I also got real door knobs and dead bolts instead of the latches usually found on trailers.If you plan on doing this often get a good trailer because the road will beat a cheap one to death.I have a '99 Franklin and it is still in good shape after at least 50,000 miles.HTH Cavedug | ||

The bike fits in by the fold down bed, or up in front. There are plenty of tie down points. Has a 2 burner stove, frig and freezer, bathroom with a separate shower, pass through storage, air, furnace, sink. It's a nice set up for the price and well made I might add. | ||

We just purchased a toy hauler that holds 2 bikes. It has a queen size full time bed, the bathroom contains a shower surround, toilet, sink and medicine cabinet, 2 burner stove, a really nice refrig/freezer, microwave, kitchen sink,a sofa that turns into a bed, stereo system and a TV. Also heat and air conditioner plus all the outlets needed to plug in and water. It also has an awning. It's only 19', perfect for 2 people. Can't wait to use it this upcoming season. It's made by Cruiser RV, Fun Finder xtra 190. It's a brand new 2008, so we got a decent deal on it. I took my bike in the back of my toy hauler once, I was driving so fast up the mountain road that the bike tires slipped out from under it. I had it tied down on each corner but no wheel chock. The bike did'nt touch down but was leaning over good enough to spill gas on the floor. So either don't drive like me or just be careful with the bike in the back of the trailer. | ||

It depends on what you want to do.I have to live in mine for up to six months at a time.Kind of different from a race week end or camping trip.Short term living go cheap.Long term you will want a slide,washer and dryer,3 burner stove,good microwave,and plenty of room in the living area.If you will be in areas where you can get away with it I have a couple of friends who have park models which means they have no tanks or inverters because they hook up to sewers and electricity everywhere they go but this makes them cheap and mobile.It all depends on what you need. obviously the cheaper the better but just wondered whats out there that you could get more than two bikes in. We stuff four or five in my v-nose trailer now but end up staying at a hotel for the night. | ||

I'm partial to the Airstream BaseCamp...but they only made it for a year or two and they're tough to find. But I will say an Airstream pulls like nothing else out there. We used to have a 31' and it would tow behind our Ram 2500 easier than our 4x8 utility trailer did! | ||

I want to come up with a 5X8 enclosed trailer to turn into a stealth camper and toy hauler. I need to keep the whole package loaded under 2000 pounds so the Jeep TJ can haul it. |
