That bike is really sweet actually..and to hear him describe it, it reminds me of the Buell, his line of "they would get me in the straights, but in the corners she would hold her own" just like my old XB or my Tuber, now my 1125R is just fine in the straights as well, but those air cooled beasts still make my head turn.

I fully understand. When I traded off my first Buell it felt like I betrayed an old friend. The dealer called a few days later and asked if I would answer some questions for the new owner. I did without hesitation, wanting to see that my friend had ended up in good hands. A few months later I got the call from the new owner asking if I had any spare parts, it had been crashed......I truly betrayed an old friend.

I got my Harley BAJA back 28 years after I sold it. It had several owners over the years. It just showed up on my driveway one night ...for free.
I bought back a Wesson black powder rifle,30 years after I sold it. Two other owners and none had ever fired it. Still just like new. Now if I could just find my first, second and third motorcycles as well as my Dads ancient harley's. Not at all interested in finding my 4th bike.It was a 72 POS Sportster. Now I've learned not to sell or trade in anything that was a passion to buy in the first place. The money will never replace the passion nor will it help in a finacial dealio...just makes it happen sooner if you can't wait and "save up".
