We're getting a new one literally just a few hundred yards from my house this summer. They were supposed to be here a couple of years ago but their franchise fell through and the Huddle House came in. Now the Awful Waffle is coming to town. Sometimes working in planning and zoning has it's perks.

Trac95er, I have to thank you for getting me hooked on it! Also, the nearest one I know of is in Scranton, PA, so its not a bad hike if you are ever in the mood. I don't call it a real Waffle House though, as the waitress had all her teeth and the floors were clean.

I love me some Waffle House.
I once stumbled in about 3am, drunk, still drinking my beer. The waitress said, "You can't bring that in here". I asked, "What difference does it make if it's in a bottle or my stomach?". She said, "I can't say anything about what's in your stomach"....so I slammed it down and handed her the empty bottle.
She got a good laugh out of it and served me some fine hash browns "all the way" which I later puked up. Yummy.

Boyyyyy there's some nice roads leading to Scranton! Hey, that waitress not only had most of her teeth, she really didn't have any sign of a detectable mustache either. A real cutie if you ask me.

We used to go to Waffle House in college in Durham (rhymes with Germ) North Carolina...after the fraternity party hopping on campus... have not seen one since... I don't think they have them in Wisconsin?

No Waffle houses here sadly, but it's a must when I visit the US.
Don (Ozz666) introduced me to WH when we were riding up through Kentucky (Lexington I think) from the Dragon a few years back & I was instantly addicted.
I took my oldest friend Nick & his wife who live in Austin to the Waffle house just south of Dallas one night on the way back to his place from Gillies.
Can you believe he's been living in Texas for well over 20 years & he'd never eaten in a Waffle House!!
