Not QUITE the exercise in impotence as discussing politics

Who's right? Who's on first?

Just stopped snowing here in Kilgore, Texas. No real accumulation, just a dusting doomed to melt within hours. Flowers are blooming. Spring is but a few weeks away.

We had another storm blow through here yesterday, dumped rain on the city, and snow on the mountains. Probably the same storm that just hit you Blake.

With all the rain we have been getting, spring should be beautiful

Oh, yippee, they are forecasting snow again early tomorrow in the northern counties (Florida).

Glad I got long underwear and wool socks for Christmas in preparation for my Minnesota visit. I've used the hell out of them in both places this winter. If this cold weather trend continues, the gerbings heated vest is gonna be moving way up on my wish list.

I'm predicting a 90% chance of 'shrinkage'!

I am sooo tire of this cold weather. I don't know how you Northern folks suffer it year after year....I almost had to wear a coat today, tomorrow a jacket will certainly be a necessity. Yikes!

Nice day today, dusting of snow, high 27. Sunny.

It's a kind of forgetful insanity.
Each year ( for me in January ) we go, "screw this! I'm moving south!" but can't right away, houses, jobs, or broke.

Then spring comes ( for us, late march-april, some years June ) and it's so nice we forget our vows to leave the land of Fimbulwinter and seek hotter climes. Also, it gives us a chance to mock the southerners when they complain about the heat....

Just north east between 26 & 89. There's at least 2 or 3 roads that don't go in a straight line! For Illinois, that's curvy.

My wife read somewhere that this might be the first weekend since the 70's that all 50 (or 57, depending on who you listen to) states will get recordable snowfall at the same time. We have about four to five on the ground right now with more forecasted on the way.

The rain has cleared up here, and the forecast for the weekend is looking good... sunny with temps in the mid 70s.

Time to play

oh its not suffering. i love it most the time! im in florida for the winter and pissed off about all these big snowstorms i am not getting to play in.

you learn what it takes to have fun in the winter. i have been into snowmobiles and skiing my whole life. love it and i am missing it this winter. if i could have afforded to i would have flown back to meet up with my friends for the snowmobile trip they just went on. i usually go on one or 2 a winter for a week + each. great times. and used to take off to colorado skiing for weeks at a time.

i wait all summer for snow!

Heard on the news this afternoon that the only state (of 50) in the U.S. that doesn't have snow on the ground is Hawaii. Global warming my butt!

You can do worse. If I lived near Peoria I would be wearing groves in those roads.
