Not all Waffle Houses are bad, and certainly not all are good. If you're not a local, or haven't been to a particular location, you're taking a chance. But the same can be said of any franchise.
At least they have more character than the Golden Arches.

We had a job over in Chippewa Falls, and later one of my engineer buddies said that he missed the speckles (Heckles) equivelant of scattered smothered and chuncked and he was drying up due to lack of grease, so I got him a huge order togo, which I delivered, promptly

They serve up "wisconcinality" what ever that is, the coffee comes in cups with lipstick already on the rim }
