Not sure about anyone else out here but I am losing my !@#!^%ing mind. VA is getting snowed in. My kids have been out of school for 10 days in a row now. And more is on the way tomorrow. :o

Between no riding and the endless cooking and cleaning created by my chilluns I have started to go bonkers...and post wayyyyyyy too much on BadWeb.

You need to buy an ATV and go ride in the snow.

I was thinking about how to convert my MC into a snowmobile. Any ideas?

How much snow did you get, Mountain? We got about 26 inches north of Baltimore and just south of Balto, in Elkridge, they got like 36 inches. Unbelievable !!!

Ha

I like that Radix kit...that would be badass on the Blast : D

Let's see, we got nailed 12-19-09 and then again this past weekend and the weekend before with intermittent precip in between. I've got drifts approaching 2-foot built up on the back porch and of course higher where I've been plowing.

And yes it does suck to be me right about now. My main recreation is riding the twisties and with all the salt and gravel on the roads my lack of Motard-skill really stands out.

Motorcycle Drifting is more fun when you know how to do it.

Visiting Mom in WI (out from CA) - and it's snowing.

Been too long since I lived here and the "magic of winter snow" is lost on me.

It would be the "maintenance and customizing season" for me if I lived here - that's for sure.

Just ride in the snow, thats what I do.

Then you can compete for the most damaged motorcycles.

I feel your pain... however, I am glad it is not me dealing with two feet of fresh new snow... we had that in December and it has been balmy here... in the 30's lately.

I want to find Al Gore and kick his butt. The only reason I bought a new bike is because he promised me some global warming and now I can't go ride: )

I too blame Al Gore...for everything.

If I could just get my snowplow unstuck then maybe I could dig out the trailer...and shovel it off...and dig out the bike...

Nah...it's going to ice up tomorrow: sleet and other nasty stuff. Hardly worth it for a couple of hours of riding. I'd be shoveling longer than I'd be motoring.

And then all that cleaning...gah.

Just going to wait it out a few more days.

ATV is the way to go for the winter blues
This machine has a 800cc Rotax v-twin, real close to the 1125..and 4x4 is lots of fun in the snow...I also have a plow for it.

Teach your kids the meaning of "Shovel"

Go out & make snow sculptures with them.

Teach them to cook & clean.

Put them to bed & drink a LARGE Scotch.
