Now imagine that on the Yamaha R6 with 16,000 RPM. TDC @275 times a second, good thing it don't really pull 17,000 like they first advertised.

Good video, but it leaves out one of the most interesting parts of most high performance combustion cycles.
The end of the exhaust cycle and valve overlap.

Back when I ran drag cars we made seven HP only indexing the plugs. Same plugs, same gaps, wedge style head. You need a dyno to establish exactly what each chamber/piston dome likes but the benefit is there.
